F.A.Q.
Q: Printing: What is the difference between CMYK and Spot Colour Printing?
A:

In many cases when we quote the printing of your stationery, we may provide you with a choice of printing methods; CMYK or Spot Colour. There is a difference in price

CMYK is 4 colour printing (full colour printing) and is gang printed with other colours. The result is of a high quality and the majority of our clients are happy to proceed with this type of printing. The only limitation is that the shades of colours may vary slightly when you reorder. A bit like buying paint, each time you buy there may be a slight difference in the shade you have chosen. The finished product is great, just the slight variation between orders. CMYK is the more economically priced option of the two.

Spot Colour printing utilises exact Pantone shades. This means that there will be consistency for each and every print. The printing process is more involved and more expensive, but if you do require that the shade of each colour is the same each and every time you order then you should order Spot Colour Printing. Spot Colour printing is the more expensive of the two options.
